The Inbox: messages vs. conversations
How the inbox groups activity, and switching between Message and Conversation mode.
The Inbox shows your incoming and outgoing activity. A message is a single email or SMS; a conversation groups all messages with one contact into a single thread.
Message vs. Conversation mode
Under Settings → User Mode you can switch between Message mode (a flat list, best for high-volume triage) and Conversation mode (grouped threads per contact, best for ongoing back-and-forth). The Inbox nav label follows your choice.
Contact thread view
Open any contact to see the full history — every email and SMS in one place — and reply inline.
